Works > I Found a Home Here and I Decided to Stay

This piece captures conflicting feelings of belonging and exclusion in a familiar place as I reflect on my experiences there. I found that the “home” I tried to make for myself there is empty, as this place and community alone cannot fill my need for connection (I need a relationship with Jesus too). Despite mixed emotions, my fondness for “The Den” has grown because of its history and my memorable experiences there.
