2023 > Have You Always Been There For Me?

This series focuses on the highs and lows of my spiritual journey as a Christian. It is a manifestation of the questioning and doubting of the God I claimed to follow. I contemplated my reason to follow God and what that decision truly meant in my life. I often wondered if He was near and if He heard my prayers. I questioned what my purpose was here on Earth as His creation. Amidst the feelings of confusion and isolation, I felt lost as my Christian community could not seem to see my struggle.

This is my first attempt at voicing my internal battles and emotions through my photography. Drawing on my background with collage, I created these digital pieces as a personal journal to process and voice my experiences.
