Anything For Me
This project, titled “Anything for Me,” is part of my larger “Fester” series, which is based on a collection of poems and songs I wrote about a past relationship. This project is inspired by a song I wrote called “If We Were Together.” Both creations convey the conflicting emotions I had during the summer after my partner and I broke up. Because of the physical and emotional distance and the internal pain that followed the breakup, I kept thinking about the moments we had together. This series shows glimpses of my memories of the intimate moments that I shared with this person, emphasizing the irony of missing someone that I broke up with. This project comes from a place of regret, desperation, and yearning. It is one manifestation of my festering.
